It's Good To Be Bad: Monster Portraits of Villiany

Hey gang,

Working on a new one man art show for October, painting some stuff at the haunt, working on some more cartoons for Scared Silly, and writing some new Bushi Tales adventures. It's been a busy month and is going to stay that way until after Halloween. If you're in Memphis next month be sure to stop by the Haunted Web of Horrors in the Trinity Commons shopping center, or the Broad Avenue Art Walk on October 2nd from 6-9pm, or my show at Adam Shaw's studio Friday October 23rd from 6-10pm. Your gallery is fantastic because it is so dynamic. Lots of little cartoons, fantastic airbrush portraits and everything in between. Keep it up man, this stuff is great!

Appreciate it. I like to keep busy and try different things. Love doing the airbrush stuff (especially the bigger portraits) and have really gotten into doing sketch cards. They're fun and you can do them just about anywhere you go.

Thanks, glad you're digging them- more to come soon. I'll be working my tail off this month and next- it's a busy time of year with the haunt and two art shows, updating my site, starting a new site, doing the next comic...maybe I can take a weekend off after the holidaze!

You wish. After the holidays everyone has gift money to throw around so January is shot, and then the real romantic will want something more comic oriented for Valentine's so there goes Feb, then you're into spring and the cycle restarts. Great work though. What comic are you doing?

Is Lin Workman a pseudonym? It's just such a cool name, seems like a play on something like 'Linework Man'. I wish I had a name that was easily word-playable.
